Calmer skin, without relying on medication.

Hi, I'm Huiying. I lived with eczema for over thirty years, went through topical steroid withdrawal, and came out the other side. SkinMatters is where I share what actually helped, so your journey can be a little easier than mine.

Why SkinMatters exists

I've been where you are.

From childhood flare-ups and asthma in the late 80s to years of increasingly potent steroid creams, my skin stopped responding. On 20 November 2019 I threw the creams away and started my TSW journey.

With a background in Life Science and a lot of trial and error, I found a way to manage my eczema-prone skin without medication. I share it here, honestly, alongside the science behind it.

"Healing is a journey, but it's one worth taking."
